Trev posted a thread over in the Blues section of the forums which made me want to throw something up on here.
As I said in the team comments thread, versus is the best way to learn the quirks of this game. I am comfortable playing any position on the ice and I attribute this to my extensive hours of playing versus. Im not saying you have to throw away all your time in versus, but if we are serious about winning a banner, I think it's the best place to start. In versus you have to control the ENTIRE team, not just your one guy. You cant rely on your forwards to score goals for you, nor can you rely on your D to shut them down. It's all on YOU. Trust me when I tell you, it will make you a better stickhandler, better passer, a better shooter, and a better finisher. Most importantly, it will make you better as part of a TEAM.
Im top 300 in the world for a reason - I'm really damn good at it. Im not trying to brag or boast. If you guys want to play me, I can guarantee you'll start picking up things you haven't before.
